World T.E.A.M.

2010 FACE OF AMERICA BICYCLE RIDE

INFORMATION

Registration

The registration fee covers all meals for participants – Friday night pasta banquet: Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and Sunday breakfast and Steaks and Beers at the ride finish.  This will also cover the bus ride from Gettysburg back to the Hyatt Bethesda on Sunday, April 25th at the conclusion of the ride.

Registration will close on March 30th or when we reach the rider limit.  So register early and encourage your friends and teammates to do so also.

Fundraising

There is a fundraising minimum of $400 for civilians and $200 for active duty service members.  We will provide you materials to assist you in your fundraising, including printouts, cards, and a copy of the 2006 documentary “The Long Journey Home” if you would like to use that in your efforts.  For materials, please contact:

Kabao Messner ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

Cori McDermott ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it )

In an effort to encourage team challenges, please note that if you are a member of a team, if your team meets the threshold for fundraising as a group, then you will be considered to have met the minimum.  (Example – you are on a team of 10, the team raised over $4,000 collectively but you raised $300.  You will be considered to have met the minimum as part of that team.)

In addition, there will be contests and awards for fundraising – both individuals and teams.  Stay tuned for further details.
