2008 Schedule of Events

February 24, 2008 - Free Inclusive Skating & Sled Hockey Clinics
Kids ages 7-15 with and without disabilities participate in skating and sled hockey clinics led by members of the Harvard Women’s Ice Hockey Team as well as other top coaches and players. Hosted at The Bright Hockey Center at Harvard University.

May 3-4 , 2008 - 2008 Face of America
A bike ride to honor, thank and actively include servicemen who have been severely injured in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. This 110 mile bike ride starts in Bethesda, MD and ends in historic Gettysburg, PA. Ride side by side with the servicemen.

May 31, 2008 - Free Inclusive Kids Sports Clinics
Kids ages 7-15 with and without disabilities participate in sports clinics that include climbing, basketball, and soccer, led by top coaches and Olympic athletes. Hosted at Boston University.

June 27-29, 2008 - Real Deal T.E.A.M. Sports Adventure Challenge
The “Real Deal” Inclusive Corporate Challenge is a multi-day, multi-sport TEAM-building wilderness adventure challenge. Competitors work together in teams combining participants with and without disabilities to meet the challenges of the terrain, their skills, strength, endurance, problem-solving and teamwork.

July 19, 2008 - Free Inclusive Kids Sailing Clinics
Kids ages 7-15 with and without disabilities, along with family members and friends, participate in free  inclusive sailing clinics led by trained instructors. Hosted at The Piers Park Sailing Center in East Boston.

September, 2008 - Hub On Wheels Bike Ride
An inclusive bike ride through the neighborhoods of Boston, including some of
Boston’s “jewels” like the Arnold Arboretum.
